The year 2022 will be another year rich in industrial safety research: “Work and workers in the 2040’s”, “Contracting relationships in high-hazard industries”, “The regulator-regulatee relationship”, “Risks and territories”, etc.
“Regulator- regulatee”: a high-level online academic seminar!
The international academic seminar on strategic analysis “Regulator-regulatee relationship” has just ended. It ran from December 15 to 17, 2021 and, with around thirty remote participants, brought together a prestigious panel of high-level international experts, representatives of European regulatory authorities and FonCSI’s industrial sponsors. A great success, the seminar marked a key moment, with a wealth of outcomes that will be incorporated into future publications, and transferred to industry.

Despite the pandemic, roll out of the ‘FonCSI 3’ program continued as planned—three strategic analyses, two working groups, and a pilot project... The 2020 activity report provides full details of all of the projects that the Foundation was able to carry out last year.
NeTWork 2021: Safety in a digital age: old and new problems
FonCSI supports the international scientific network on risks, NeTWork, and participates in the organization of its annual seminar. This year’s seminar, which ran from 16 to 18 September, was focused on safety in the digital age and brought together ten international experts.
A new “Cahier” on the HOF of safety
A few years after having published a first book on the Human and Organisational Factors of safety, FonCSI offers a second book: “Taking account of HOF in planning and designing a high-risk system”.
