Abstract

The aim of this document is to help personnel responsible for operational units and members of the Health and safety committee to develop their leadership abilities in the domain of safety. The objective is to provide simple principles and practical examples that can be easily adapted to the individual context.This document is primarily aimed at personnel in the following positions: plant director, construction manager, maintenance shutdown manager, HSE actor, team leader, secretary or member of the Health and safety committee. More generally, it may be useful to anyone working in an industrial facility or a service company who is interested in safety. It may be particularly useful for initial or ongoing training.
